Daily Lesson 325 ~
November 21

All things I think I perceive reflect ideas.

What is Creation?

This Idea is awakening’s keynote. What I perceive reflects a process in my mind that starts with my idea of what I want. From there, the mind makes up an image of the thing it desires, assesses as valuable, and therefore seeks to find. These images are then projected outward, perceived, esteemed as real, and held as one’s own.

From insane wishes comes an insane world. From judgment comes a world condemned. And from forgiving thoughts a gentle world comes forth, with Mercy for the holy Children of the Divine, to offer them a kindly home where they can rest a while as they journey to awakening, and help them walk on together and find the Way to Heaven and to the Divine.

Our Creator, Your Ideas establish Truth, and mine apart from Yours only make up delusional dreams. Let me learn to behold only what Yours reflect, for Yours and Yours alone are what I really want.

Chapter 2: Characteristics of the Teachers of the Divine

5. Joy

Joy is the inevitable result of Gentleness. Gentleness and harmlessness, and their companions kindness and mercy, mean that fear is now impossible, and what could come to interfere with Joy? The open hands of Gentleness are always filled with Joy. The gentle have no pain. They cannot suffer. Why would they not be joyous? They are sure that they are beloved and must be safe. Joy goes with Gentleness as surely as grief attends harm.

The Divine’s Teachers trust in It. And they are sure Its appointed Teacher, the Holy Spirit, goes before them, protecting the reality of all things. They receive and give the Divine’s Gifts and follow in Its Way, because the Divine’s Voice directs them in all things.

Joy is their song of thanks. And Divine Essence beholds the Divine’s Teachers with Its Thanks as well. Its Need of them is just as great as theirs of It. How joyous it is to share the Purpose of awakening!
