I am forever an Effect of the Divine.

What is Creation?

 

Creator, I was created in Your Mind, a holy Thought that has never left Its Home. I am forever Your Effect, and You forever and forever are my Cause. As You created me I have remained. Where You established me I still abide. And all Your Attributes abide in me because it is Your Will to have a Child so like Its Cause that Cause and Its Effect are indistinguishable.

Let me know that I am Your Effect, and so I have the Power to create like You. And as it is in Heaven, so on Earth. Your Plan I follow here, and at the end I know that You will gather Your Effects into the tranquil Heaven of Your Love, where Earth will disappear, and separate things unite in Glory as the eternal Creation of the Divine.

 

Let us today behold Earth disappear, at first transformed, and then, forgiven, fade entirely into the Divine’s holy Will.

6. Defenselessness

The Divine’s Teachers have learned how to be simple. They have no dreams that need defense against the Truth. They do not try to “make” themselves. Their Joy comes from understanding Who created them. And does what the Divine created need defense?

Every Teacher of the Divine who has advanced in their own learning fully understands that defenses are merely the foolish guardians of mad illusions. The more grotesque the dream, the fiercer and more powerful its defenses seem to be. Yet when the Teachers of the Divine finally decide to see beyond them, they find that nothing was there. Slowly at first they let themselves be undeceived. But they learn faster as their Trust increases.

It is not danger that comes when defenses are laid down. It is Safety. It is Peace. It is Joy. And it is the Divine.
