When I fully trust Reality, I know that there is nothing to fear.

The idea for today simply states a fact. It is not a fact to those who believe in illusions, but illusions are not facts. In truth Reality can be fully trusted, and therefore there is nothing to fear. It is very easy to recognize this. But it is very difficult to recognize it for those who want illusions to be true.

Today’s practice periods will be very short, very simple, and very frequent. Merely repeat the idea as often as possible. You can use it with your eyes open at any time and in any situation. It is strongly recommended, however, that you take a minute or so whenever possible to close your eyes and repeat the idea slowly to yourself several times. It is particularly important that you use the idea immediately, should anything disturb your peace of mind.

The presence of fear is a sure sign that you are trusting in your own strength. The awareness that Reality can be fully trusted, and that there is nothing to fear, shows that somewhere in your mind, not necessarily in a place that you recognize yet, you have remembered Spirit’s Presence and let the Divine’s Strength take the place of your weakness. The Instant you are willing to do this there is indeed nothing to fear.

Principle of Miracles 48

The miracle is the only means for adjusting time that is available for your use in any situation. Only revelation transcends time, having nothing to do with time at all.

Commentary

The miracle is much like time and the body, in that each are learning aids that aim at facilitating a state in which they are no longer needed. When the mind is finally again in its original State of direct Communication with the Divine, neither time, the body, nor the miracle will serve any purpose, and will not exist.

While a person is in the body, however, they can choose between loveless and miraculous channels of expression. They can construct an empty shell (touched on previously), but they are not able to express nothing at all. People can wait, delay, paralyze themselves, reduce their expressiveness almost to nothing, and even introduce an actual developmental arrest or regression into their path. But it is not given to anyone to abolish their expressiveness, nor what is ultimately their creativity. A person can destroy their current medium of communication, but not their potential, because their creation was not their will but their Creator’s, Which created their will. Only what they conceive, express and ultimately create is theirs to decide.

The basic decision of the miracle-minded is not to wait on time any longer than is necessary. Time can waste as well as be wasted. Miracle workers, therefore, accept the time-adjustment factor of the miracle gladly, knowing that every collapse of time brings everyone closer to the ultimate release from time, in which the Oneness of Creation and Its Creator is remembered and rejoined. The real meaning of being “of one Kind” is “of one Mind or Will.” The perfect Accord of the Oneness of the Will of the Creator and of Its Children is Heaven.

The Equality of the Divine’s Children is not sameness but Allness. When everyone knows that they have Everything, individual contributions to the Divine Family will no longer be necessary. When the Atonement has been completed in time, as It is in Eternity, all talents will be shared by all Children of the Divine. The Divine is impartial. All of Its Children have Its total Love, and all of Its Gifts and theirs are given freely to everyone alike.

Touching again on the reciprocal nature of miracles, know that you are never brought into relationship with anyone randomly. Together you have the perfect potential to support each other in making better destiny choices. For instance, one may be able to provide the other with the consistent strength the other needs to get through a challenging period of their life. Through offering this strength, the one brings healing to their own weakness that resulted from poor choices in the past beyond conscious memory. When the other is on more stable ground, they will be able to provide the stability for the first to solidify their new strength. Through this miracle process each will be helping the other where each one failed before, and preparing their relationship in the present for the crucial role it will play in the future. This is just another example of the reciprocal nature of miracles.

Any ability you developed in the past beyond conscious memory and place at my direction in the holy instant to serve Atonement will not require the reciprocal help from another to become effective, because you will have already individually made the right destiny choice in relationship with me now. You who are brought into reciprocal relationship with each other in awakening do have unique talents that are needed for the Celestial speedup that is happening at this time. But note that the term “speedup” is not one that relates to the transcending of time.

“Except you become as little children” means that unless you fully recognize your complete dependence on Spirit, you cannot know the real Power of the perfect Creation in its true Relationship with Its Creator. When time is no more, and all the Children of the Divine have come Home, no awakening intermediaries will be necessary because awakening will be complete. But do not underestimate the Power of awakening intermediaries now, or the great need there is for them. I claim only to be such myself, nothing more or less. No one in their right mind (a term that should be specially noted) ever wants either more or less than that. Those who are called to work with me now are working on behalf of all human beings, as I am.

Regarding awakening intermediaries, the role of the priestess in an earlier age of humanity was both to experience and bring revelations and miracles to those they served, in order to bring those not yet available for direct revelations themselves into proper focus to be able to receive them. Heightened perception was always the essential priestess attribute. Any such abilities developed in an earlier time will be put to good use now when devoted to the Atonement at this time of Celestial speedup.
