I choose the second place to gain the first.

What is Creation?

 

What is the “first place” or highest priority in the world of illusions – autonomy –  is the “second place,” or simply a result, in the Real World. And what appears to be the “second place,” or a humbling of oneself, in the world of illusions – that is, giving judgment to Spirit to be free of its burden and consequences – is the highest priority or “first place” in the Real World. For all things we perceive in the world of illusions are upside-down until we listen to the Voice of the Divine.

In illusions it seems that we will gain autonomy only by our striving to be separate, and that our independence from the rest of the Divine’s Creation is the way in which “success” is obtained. Yet all we find that way is sickness, suffering, loss and death. This is not what our Creator wills for us, nor is there any second to Its Will. To join with Its Will is just to find our own. And since our will is the Divine’s, it is to It that we must go to recognize our will.

 

Creator, there is no will but Yours. And I am glad that nothing I imagine keeps me from being what You would have me be. It is Your Will that I be wholly Safe and eternally at peace. And happily I share that Will which You, my Creator, gave as part of me.

8. Patience

Those who are certain of the promised Fulfillment of awakening can afford to wait, and wait without anxiety. Patience is natural to the Teachers of the Divine. All they see is that a happy outcome to all things is sure, at a time perhaps unknown to them as yet, but not in doubt. The time will be as right as is the Answer. And this is true for everything that happens now and in the future.

The past as well held no uncorrectable mistakes, no “sins,” and therefore nothing, when turned over to Spirit, that could not serve to benefit the world as well as them to whom it seemed to happen. Perhaps the potential benefit was not understood at the time. Even so, the Teacher of the Divine is willing to reconsider all their past decisions if they are causing pain to anyone.

Patience is natural to those who trust. Sure of the ultimate Interpretation and Evaluation of all things in time, no outcome already seen or yet to come can cause them fear.
