Spirit is present and with us, so trust is justified in every situation, and fear is not justified in any form.

What is awakening?

 

Fear is deception. It attests that you have perceived yourself as you could never be, and therefore look upon a world that is impossible. Not one thing in this world is true. It does not matter what the form in which fear may appear. It witnesses only to your own illusions of yourself.

Let us release ourselves from deception today. We are the Children of the Divine. There is no fear in us, for we are each a Part of Love Itself.

 

Creator, how foolish are our fears! It is forever Your Will that Your Children be free, including from suffering. Give us faith today to recognize Your Children and, seeing them, help them choose Freedom. Let us forgive them in Your Name, that we may understand their holiness, and feel the Love for them that is Your Own as well.

Chapter 23: The Grace of the Holy Relationship

 

5. Lifting the Veil Together

In the Holy Place of your holy relationship you stand before the veil of separation that hangs between you and the Face of Divine Essence. Let the veil be lifted! Lift it together, for it is only a veil that stands between you. Either of you alone will look upon it as a solid block, nor realize how thin the wisp that separates you now. Yet this illusion is almost over in your awareness. And Peace has reached you even here, before the veil. Think what will happen after! The Love of Divine Essence will light your faces, and shine from them into a darkened world that needs the Light. And from this Holy Place, Divine Essence will return with you to Earth, not leaving this Place or you.

You will become Divine Essence’s Messengers, returning It unto Itself. Think of the Loveliness you will see, who walk with Divine Essence! And think how beautiful will each of you be to the other! How happy you will be to be together after such a long and lonely journey where you walked alone. The transition to the Real World, now complete for you, will you now lead the sorrowful to. And everyone who beholds Divine Essence in you will rejoice. How beautiful the sight you see beyond the veil, which you will bring to light the tired eyes of those as weary now as once you were. How thankful will they be to have you come among them, offering Divine Essence’s Forgiveness to dispel their belief in separation.

In your holy relationship, every mistake you make the other will gently have corrected for you. For in their sight your Loveliness is their awakening, which they would protect from harm. And each will be the other’s strong protector from everything that seems to come between you. So shall you walk the world with me, whose message of awakening has not yet been received by everyone. For you are here to let it be received. The Divine’s Call to and Offer of awakening are present and only wait acceptance. From you who have accepted Its Call is It received. Into your joined hands is Its Offering safely given. For you who share It have become Its willing protectors and providers.

To all who share the Love of the Divine the Grace is given to be the givers of what they have received. And so they learn that It is theirs forever. All barriers disappear before their coming, as every obstacle was finally surmounted that seemed to rise and block their way before. This veil you lift together opens the Way to Truth to more than you. Those who would let illusions be lifted from their minds are this world’s awakeners, walking the world with their Awakener, and carrying Its Message of Hope and Freedom and Release from suffering to everyone who needs a miracle to bless them.

How easy is it to offer this miracle to everyone! Everyone who has received it for themself will find it natural to share it. For by receiving it they learned it was given them to share. Such is the function of a holy relationship: to receive together, and then to give as you received. Standing before the veil it still seems difficult. But hold out your hands together and touch this heavy-seeming block, and you will learn how easily your fingers slip through its nothingness. It is no solid wall. And only an illusion stands between you and the holy Self you share.
