Lesson 200. The Peace of the Divine is the only peace there is.
Let me not wander from the Way of Peace, for I am lost on other roads than this.
But let me follow It Who leads me Home, and Peace is certain as the Love of the Divine.

1. A Time of Celebration
This is a time of celebration in the acceptance of Truth. Let us spend this holy time seeing beyond what seems to be the abandonment and martyrdom of the Divine’s Children in their experience, happy in the celebration of their Release from such illusions. For the Resurrection is the sign of Peace, not pain. Divine Essence that could be slain has no meaning. But Divine Essence that has risen from all illusions and attacks thrust on It becomes the symbol of the Divine Children’s forgiveness of themselves, the sign they see themselves as healed and Whole.
The celebration of moving from illusion to resurrection traditionally begins with the symbol of palm branches and ends with that of flowers – of lilies – the pure and holy sign that the Children of the Divine are eternally innocent. Let no dark signs of abandonment and martyrdom intervene between the journey and its Purpose, between the acceptance of the Truth and Its Expression. For we now celebrate eternal Life, not the illusion of death. And we honor the perfect Innocence of the Children of the Divine, and not their illusions of separation and sin. Offer each other the gift of flowers instead of a crown of thorns, the Gift of Love instead of the “gift” of fear.
You stand beside each other, thorns in one hand and flowers in the other, uncertain yet which to give. Join now with me, and discard the thorns, offering the flowers to replace them. In this time of celebration I ask the gift of your forgiveness, offered by you to me, and returned by me to you. We cannot be united in abandonment or in death. Nor can the Resurrection be complete until your forgiveness rests on Divine Essence along with mine.
Time is short in the Light of Eternity, and yet this holy time of celebration is the symbol of the whole journey home that the Children of the Divine who forgot themselves have begun. The journey starts with the acceptance of Truth as the Purpose of the journey, which has the promise of the Resurrection already given. Wander not into the temptation of abandonment and martyrdom to be delayed there. Help your sisters and brothers go in Peace beyond these mis-projections, with the Light of their own Innocence lighting their way to their awakening and Release. Hold them not back with thorns and nails, when their awakening and your own are so near. But let the purity of your shining gift of flowers speed them on their way to resurrection from all illusions.
This time is the celebration of the end of the belief in sin, not of its “cost” as the ego interprets freedom. As you glimpse the Face of Divine Essence behind the veil, seen within the beautiful petals of the flowers you have received and given as your gift, you will behold each other’s true Essence, and recognize Its Reality. I was a stranger and you took me in, not knowing who I was. But through your gift of forgiveness, symbolized by the image of flowers, you will know. In your forgiveness of this stranger, unknown to you and yet your ancient Friend, is Its Release, and your awakening with It. The time of celebration is a time of joy and not of mourning. Look on your risen Friend and celebrate Its Holiness, along with me. For this is the time of your awakening, along with mine.
