I give the miracles I have received.

No one can give what they have not received. To give a thing requires first you have it in your own possession. Here the Laws of Heaven and the laws of the world agree. But here they also separate. The world believes that to possess a thing it must be kept. Awakening teaches otherwise. To give is how to recognize you have received. It is the proof that what you give is real, and that what you have is yours.

You understand that you are healed when you give healing. You accept forgiveness as accomplished in yourself when you forgive. You recognize your sisters and brothers as yourself, and thus do you perceive that you are whole. Every miracle is there to be given, for all are given you. Receive them now by opening the Storehouse of your mind, its deepest level, where miracles are, and giving them away, so they may be yours forever.

The Vision of Divine Essence is a miracle. It comes from far beyond Itself, for It reflects eternal Love, and the Rebirth of this Love that never dies even if It has been kept obscure.

The Vision of Divine Essence reflects Heaven, for It sees a world so like to Heaven that what the Divine created perfect can be mirrored there. The darkened glass the world presents can show only twisted images in broken parts. The Real World shows Heaven’s Innocence.

Divine Essence is the Miracle in which all miracles are born. It is their Source, remaining with each miracle you give, and yet also remaining yours. It is the Bond by which the giver and receiver are united in extension here on Earth as they are One in Heaven. Divine Essence beholds no flaw or sin in anyone, and in Its Sight the perfect are as One. Their holiness was given by Its Creator and Itself.

The Vision of Divine Essence is the Bridge between the world of illusions and the Real World, and you can safely trust in Its Power to carry you from this world into one made holy by forgiveness. Things that seem quite solid here are merely shadows in the Real World, transparent, faintly perceived, at times forgotten, and never able to obscure the Light that shines beyond them. Holiness has been restored to vision, and the blind can see.

Access to this is the Holy Spirit’s single Gift. This is the Treasure House to which you can appeal with perfect certainty for everything that can contribute to your happiness. All Blessings are laid here already. All can be received merely for the asking. Here the door is never locked, and no one is denied their least request or their most urgent need. There is no sickness not already healed, no lack unsatisfied, no need unmet, within this golden Treasury of Divine Essence.

Here does the world remember what was lost when it was made. For here it is repaired, made new again because it is seen in Light. What was made to be the seat of separation becomes the center of awakening and the Hearth of Mercy, where the suffering are welcomed and healed. Everyone will be welcomed into this new home, where their awakening waits. Everyone is a friend here. The only thing asked of anyone arriving here is the gift of their acceptance of their welcoming.

The Vision of Divine Essence is the holy ground in which the flowers of forgiveness set their roots. This is their Home. They can be brought from here back to the world of illusion, but they can never grow in its unnourishing and shallow soil. They need the Light and Warmth and kindly Care that Divine Essence’s Generosity provides. They need the Love with which Divine Essence sees them. And they become Its Messengers who give as they have received.

Take and give from Divine Essence’s Treasure House, that Its Treasures may increase. In Truth Its Flowers do not leave their Home when they are carried back into the world. Their Roots remain in Heaven. They do not leave their Source, but carry Its Beneficence with them, and turn the world into a garden like the one they came from, and to which they go again with added beauty and fragrance. Now are they twice blessed, for the Messages they brought from Divine Essence have been delivered and returned to them. And they return them gladly unto It.

Behold the Storehouse of miracles set for you to give. Are you not worth the Gift, when the Divine appointed this Gift be given you? Judge not the Divine’s Children, but follow in the Way the Creator has established. Divine Essence has dreamed the dream of a forgiven world. It is Its Gift whereby a sweet transition can be made from death to Life, from hopelessness to Hope. Let us an Instant dream with Divine Essence. Its Dream awakens us to Truth. Its Vision gives the Means for a Return to our awakened and everlasting Sanctity in the Divine.

Chapter 13: From Guilt to the Promise of Heaven

 

9. Fulfilling Real Needs

Your Creator knows that you have need of nothing. In Heaven this is so, for what could you need in Eternity? But in this world you do need things, as it is a world of scarcity in which you find yourself because you believed yourself lacking. But can you find your holy Self in such a world? Without the Holy Spirit, the answer would be no. But because of It, the answer is a joyous yes. As Mediator between the two worlds, It knows what you have need of that will not hurt but will only truly help you.

Ownership is a dangerous concept if it is left to the separated ones. The ego aspect of the split mind wants to have things for its perceived “salvation,” for possession is its law. Possession for its own sake is the ego’s fundamental creed, a basic cornerstone in the places of worship that it builds unto itself. And at its altar it demands that you lay all of the things it bids you get, leaving you no joy in them.

Everything the ego tells you that you need will hurt you. For, although it urges you again and again to get, it leaves you nothing, for what you get the ego will demand of you. And even from the very hands that grasped it, it will be wrenched and hurled into the dust. For where the ego looks upon separation it perceives salvation, and so you lose whatever you have gotten in its name. Therefore, ask not of yourself what you need, for you know not, and your advice unto yourself will hurt you. For what you think you need will merely serve to tighten up your world against the Light, and render you unwilling to question the value that this world can really hold for you.

Only the Holy Spirit knows what you really need. And It will give you all things that are in accord with the Way of Light, Life and Love. And what else could you need? Within time, Spirit gives you all the things that you need have, and will renew them as long as you have need of them. It will take nothing from you as long as you have any real need of it. And yet It knows that everything you need is temporary, and that these things will only last until you step aside from all your perceived needs, and learn that all of them have been fulfilled. Therefore, It has no investment in the things that It supplies, except to make certain that you will not use them on behalf of lingering in time. It knows that you are not at home in this world in space or in time, and It wills no delay to cause you to wait upon your joyous Homecoming.

Leave, then, your needs to Spirit. It will supply for them, with no emphasis at all upon them. What comes to you of It comes safely, for It will ensure that nothing you have can ever become a dark spot, hidden in your mind, kept to hurt you. Under Spirit’s Guidance you will journey lightly, for Its Sight is ever on the journey’s End, which is Its Goal.

The Divine’s Children are not travelers through outer worlds. However holy their perception may become, no world outside themselves holds their Inheritance. Within themselves they have no actual needs, for Light needs nothing except to shine in Peace, and from Itself to let the Great Rays extend in Quiet to Infinity.

Whenever you are tempted to undertake a foolish journey that would lead away from Light, Life and Love, remember what you really want, and say: “The Holy Spirit leads me unto Divine Essence, and where else would I go? What need have I but to awaken in my holy Self?” Then follow Spirit in Joy, with faith that It will lead you safely to your peace of mind through all the obstacles and dangers that this world seems to set before you. Kneel not before the altars to sacrifice, and seek not what you will surely lose. Content yourself with what you will as surely keep, and be not restless, for you undertake a quiet Journey to the Peace of the Divine, where It would have you be in Quietness.

In me you have already overcome every temptation that would hold you back. We walk together on the Way to Quietness that is the Gift of the Divine. Hold me and all our sisters and brothers dear, for what except the Divine Family can any of us need? Together we will find the peace of mind that can only be found together. The Holy Spirit will teach you to awaken unto us, and to yourself. This is the only real need to be fulfilled in time. Awakening from the world resides only here.

My peace I give you. Receive it of me, in glad exchange for all that the world has offered only to take away. And we will spread Peace, like a veil of Light, across the world’s sad face, a veil in which we hide our sisters and brothers from the illusion of this world, and it from them.

Healing in time is needed, for Joy’s eternal Realm cannot be remembered where sorrow dwells. We cannot sing Atonement’s Hymn alone. My task is not completed till I have lifted every voice with mine. And yet this Song is not mine, for as It is my gift to you, so was It the Creator’s Gift to me and us, given through Its Spirit. The sound of It will banish sorrow from the mind of the Divine’s most holy Children, who share Its Mind, where sorrow cannot abide.

Sisters and brothers, you reside not here, but in Eternity. You travel only in dreams, while safely Home. Give thanks to every Part of the Divine Family that you have taught how to remember your holy Self. Thus do the Children of the Divine give thanks unto their Creator for their Innocence.
