This idea contains the first glimmerings of your true function in this world, or why you are here. Your Purpose is to see the world through your own holiness, for through this are you and the world blessed together. Everyone and everything benefit through your holy vision. Only thus does the idea that anything can be taken away from anyone become impossible. Your true vision signifies the end of injustice, because it offers everyone their full due. And everyone is entitled to Everything, because this is their birthright as Children of the Divine.
Other than true vision, there is no form of perception in which the idea of sacrifice – or giving up something in order for something else to be gained – which is the cornerstone of injustice, can be removed from the world’s thinking. Any other way will involve an exchange of some kind that will inevitably require giving up something, incurring a cost, or demanding a payment of someone or something. As a result, all participants of such an exchange will lose, even if they think they have come out ahead, because they will emerge without Wholeness. Nor will it be apparent why they feel they have lost something.
Yet is their Wholeness restored to their awareness through your vision. Your holiness blesses them by asking nothing of them. Those who see themselves as whole make no demands.
Your holiness is the way the world awakens from its nightmare. Your holiness teaches the world your Oneness with it, through which it remembers its Wholeness, not through words but merely by your quiet recognition that in your holiness are all things blessed along with you.
Today’s four longer exercise periods, each to involve three to five minutes of practice, begin with a repetition of the idea for today, followed by a minute or so of glancing about you as you apply the idea to whatever you perceive:
“My holiness blesses this chair.”
“My holiness blesses that window.”
“My holiness blesses this kitten.”
Then close your eyes and apply the idea to any person who occurs to you, saying:
“My holiness blesses you, (name).”
Continue the practice period applying the idea with eyes closed to those who are in your thoughts, and with eyes open to what you perceive around you, or use any combination of these two phases of application that you prefer.
Each practice period should conclude with a repetition of the idea made with your eyes closed, and another, following immediately, made with your eyes open.
The shorter exercises consist of repeating the idea as often as you can throughout the day. It is particularly helpful to apply it silently to anyone you meet, inwardly using their name as you do so. It is essential to use the idea if anyone seems to cause an adverse reaction in you. Offer them the blessing of your holiness immediately, that you may learn to keep It in your own awareness.
